Welcome to CarSeatOn!

Hi, I’m Kristin, I started CarSeatOn because, just like you, at first, I was trying to find the best car seat option for my littles.

I’ve now reviewed over 50+ car seats and help over 1,200 parents every month find the best model for their needs to ride the kids safely and comfortably.

Feel free to contact me at any time: bestcarseaton@gmail.com

     It’s a simple story.

I wanted to get a car seat for my first baby, John. It was 2018. I started my research on Google and explored more and more on this topic more.

I gathered a lot of information online about the car seat, age, stage, and most importantly, brands, to make a long checklist and took it offline in the Walmart stores to check and test, and finally got my first car seat there.

It was Chicco KeyFit 30.

This car seat was friendly for premature babies. My little Karl was born several days before the due date.

Before he outgrew this car seat around his 9th month, I knew he needed another car seat because his leg can’t comfortably lay between the car seat and the back seat in the car.

This time, we got Graco Extend2Fit on Amazon.

He still uses this car seat now but is going to exceed the height limit soon. Suppose I need to find another safe car seat for him soon.

It’s a pain to do the research to find a car seat fitting your little one. So I did a record of the process and started this blog to help parents like me.

Riding your child safe is one of the most important things for a good parent. The time your baby spends in their car seat is the same as when you’re in the car.

Different from professional websites like thewirecutter.com talk about car seats in types – infant, convertible, or booster. I’d like to share tips on finding the right car seat for your littles based on their ages, weights, or heights.

It’s a very common case that you’ll need to drive your babies in the car, no matter the first time from hospital to home, or ride them with you wherever you go, for example, on a trip to a different state.

I started to when I tried to plan our family trips with my little one on his 1st birthday, I found the car seat laws between the states were different.

Some states have rigid laws on rear-facing and require an infant or toddler younger than 2 years old to ride in a rear-facing car seat, like California, New York, Washington, Pennsylvania, etc.

Where did it all start?

More than that
